I have worked Short Sale properties. One of my main area's I work is Probate. I grew up farming and ranching. Have had horses and cows most of my life. Have had my own small cow-calf operation. Chris Sweistris has for many years been building his personal wealth through real estate and decided in 2015 to become an Oregon licensed Real Estate broker to help others realize the power of real estate. Chris has been a small business owner since 1979, and currently is a partner with his son in a successful local service business and understands what it takes to drive a small business in all economic climates. Chris’ ability to analyze Profit and loss statements, and balance sheets makes Chris a go to professional in analyzing any small business purchase or sale. Chris, since 2000 has been a practicing licensed Registered Investment Advisor which gives him a unique financial perspective in helping his clients take all things into consideration when purchasing or selling a property. Chris has also experienced the rigors of contaminated property and working with DEQ to resolve all issues while developing the property into a single tenant NNN leased property, which is part of his portfolio.
Chris grew up in Salem OR, where in 1979 he joined his father in helping operate a successful family business which his father had purchased in 1946. Chris along with his father worked side by side and built the business into one of the largest of its kind in Oregon, where Chris became active in the state association by serving on its board of directors as well as two terms as the association President. Chris’ father immigrated to the United States (Burns OR) from Lithuania and had a work ethic like no other, which Chris partially inherited, only partially because no one worked as hard as Chris’ father. While in Salem, Chris was involved in coaching youth sports and mentoring children at local grade schools.
In 2005 and after the death of Chris’ father at the age of 92, Chris and his wife Debra moved to Eagle Crest, a resort community five miles west of Redmond. They have four children, and six grandchildren, which three of the adult children and their spouses are currently living in Redmond along with five of their six grandchildren.
Chris purchased his first Central Oregon property (Sunriver) in 1988, and over the past several years, Chris has guided both buyers and sellers, helping them navigate through the real estate process in his home resort community of Eagle Crest. His firsthand knowledge of the local community and the total living experience of resort life will help buyers make an informed decision. His knowledge of the local economic conditions and home trends will help sellers have great confidence that all things have been considered in formulating a prudent price for their home. Chris is well informed in all of Redmond’s neighborhoods, as well as mamy in Bend, and can help his clients choose the right area that fits their specific needs.
